Worthing Wurlitzer The Worthing Wurlitzer is one of the finest theatre pipe organs in the UK. It is installed in the acoustically superb Assembly Hall whichbrings out the best of its warm rich and thrilling sounds. With over 1600 individual pipes together with Xylophone Glockenspiel Drums Cymbals and much more you can think of it as an orchestra under the control of one master musician. The instrument was first heard in Worthing in 1981 but it harks back to the longgone grand cinema days of silent films interludes with ice cream.
