Got a stripped-out hole for your screw? It's a common problem, especially on high-stress applications like doors and coat hooks. Your first option is to simply use a larger screw that can bit into the substrate. But if that's not an option, you can use the ""toothpick method."" Simply dip some toothpicks into wood glue and insert them into the screw hole. This gives your screw something to bite into. Let the glue dry for 24 hours and you're back in business.
