The power of dance There is truly a power in dancing physical and mental wellbeing spatial awareness social connections rhythm cognitive strengthening creative expression the list goes on. Whether a child at play a professional on stage a student in the classroom or an audience member watching dance provides joy exhilaration and so much more. Thus I founded SPDC as a nonprofit 501c3 in the State of Connecticut in 1991. SPDC has morphed throughout the years following the trajectory of life.
