Events Upcoming HEF Events What Is HEF. The Hillsborough Education Foundation is a NJbased nonprofit organization that raises private funds to support our schools. Since our inception in 1996 we have provided over 325K in grants to teachers and to fund innovative programs such as the Robotics Club and the first artificial turf field at Hillsborough High School as well as college scholarships for graduating seniors.
