Save the Harbor / Save the Bay is the leading voice for restoration & protection of Boston Harbor, the Boston Harbor Islands, and our region's public beaches. Save the Harbor/Save the Bay is a non-profit public interest harbor advocacy organization whose mission is to restore and protect Boston Harbor, Massachusetts Bay and the marine environment- for everyone to enjoy. As the region's leading voice for clean water and continued public investment in Boston Harbor, the region's public beaches, and the Boston Harbor Islands, our mission is to restore and protect Boston Harbor, Massachusetts Bay and the marine environment and share them with the public for everyone to enjoy. Since 1986, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay has led the effort to restore and protect Boston Harbor, Massachusetts Bay, the waterfront, our region's public beaches and the Boston Harbor Islands and reconnect and share these extraordinary urban environmental assets with all Bostonians and the region's residents, especially underserved youth, teens and their families.
