Hearts & Homes for Refugees Welcome Convene Educate Advocate Building Welcoming Communities since 2016Acting locally to address the global crisis Our Mission Inspire educate and equip volunteers neighbors and community organizations from all faiths and civic groups to resettle refugees and empower our new neighbors to rebuild their lives with hope and dignity. Our Vision We envision communities where refugees are resettled through the goodwill of volunteers and community partners building bridges and fostering better understanding and acceptance of those forced to flee their homes. Our Welcoming Work Together with community partners and faith civic and student groups we provide support for up to one year through programs led by trained and compassionate staff and volunteers. Our grassroots volunteerdriven work addresses all aspects of resettlement deepening roots and improving refugee outcomes.

🌍💙 Exciting news. Hearts & Homes for Refugees has been awarded a United Way Community Impact Grant of $8,250. This funding will strengthen our ESOL programs for Afghan newcomers and launch new initiatives for refugee children and teens—from tutoring and mentorship to summer activities and community outings.
