We’re beyond thrilled for the third session for the inaugural Mound City Film Series, bringing the legendary Mountainfilm Festival—America's premier showcase of adventure, activism and jaw-dropping storytelling from Telluride—to St. Louis! Teaming up with 4 Hands Brewing Company, SWADE EAST, River City Outdoors, this FREE series takes place at the 4 Hands Brewery & Tasting Room in downtown St. Louis. Join us to celebrate Open Space STL’s 60th anniversary of protecting Missouri’s waterways, parklands, and ecosystems. Expect captivating documentaries from Telluride’s iconic festival , live music at 4:20pm, guest speakers at 6:30pm, and screenings at 7pm monthly through September. No tickets needed—just show up for an unforgettable experience! Wednesday, June 18 - “Threads of Life: Finding Our Place in Nature” These films invite viewers to reflect on their connection to the natural world—whether through solitude, the vastness of time, the wisdom of wildlife, or the delicate balance of ecosystems. These films explore how people observe, learn from, and coexist with nature, a reminder that humans are just one thread in the intricate web of life. Home Founded in 1965 Open Space STL works independently and collaboratively to conserve and sustain land water and other natural resources for the health and wellbeing of people throughout the St. Louis region. Stewardship Annually Open Space STL volunteers donated thousands of hours of time to stewarding natural resources and restoring wildlife habitat in the STL region. Land Conservation Open Space STL works to create parkland and secure greenspace for the next generation.
