HSU’s first mechanical engineering cohort has transformed a classroom assignment into a tangible campus improvement. Partnering with University Recreation, the team designed, tested, and fabricated a custom storage system for the Fletcher Fitness Center—completing the full engineering design cycle on a $700 budget with locally sourced materials.
