May Food Shelf Usage Report. We've been asked how the recent funding cuts in Washington has affected us here at the food shelf. At this point we've not seen any so far, however the current funding bill does contain reductions that we expect to impact us. One area specifically we are tracking is any cuts to SNAP. This is the primary program to help address hunger in our community, less funding for it will result in more people coming to the food shelf. May Usage.
