One of 30 parks managed by Nassau County the fiveacre Baxters Pond and Preserve is a passive park Our Events Our Mission Our Events Baxters Pond Foundations mission of maintenance advocacy and beautification projects are ongoing allowing the park to host a number of community activities.

BAXTERS POND FOUNDATION INC
This lovely weeping willow tree is at the far/eastern end of Baxter‘s pond. This time of year it is surrounded by the abundant White Wood Aster plant - a native perennial with clusters of small, daisy-like white flowers with yellow centers that bloom from late summer to early fall. Be sure to look for it.
