Just last week, our Mobile Art Gallery opened its doors for MIGHTY MIGHTY: The Barbershop Project by artist @devanshimoyama. Presented in partnership with @dcpubliclibrary, this immersive installation reimagines the barbershop as a space for transformation, healing, and radical self-expression—especially for Black and LGBTQ+ communities. Originally launched in 2019, the project returns with renewed urgency for World Pride 2025, offering a powerful reflection on beauty, identity, and care. We’ve already welcomed so many through the gallery, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Now more than ever, this work reminds us how vital it is to create spaces where community, culture, and creativity converge. Stay tuned for more information about our free haircut activations, taking place on select dates and times outside of regular exhibition hours. A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, partners, barbers, and host committee for making this all possible!
