Latinos in Heritage Conservation | USA WE ARE THE NATIONAL LEADER OF HISTORIC PRESERVATION OF LATINX HERITAGE Photo courtesy Jon Tyson CONSERVING LATINX SITES AND LIVING CULTURES IN THE FABRIC OF AMERICAN SOCIETY Founded in 2014 Latinos in Heritage Conservationis the leading nonprofit organization for the preservation of Latinx places stories and cultural heritage in the United States. We are a diverse network of intergenerational advocates conserving Latinx sites and living cultures in the fabric of American society affirming the value of our history in the hemispheric struggle for social justice. OUR PROJECTS The Toolkit is a bilingual booklet that empowers Latinx communities by demystifying historic preservation. The Toolkit highlights four Latinx heritage success stories from Texas defines preservation terms and provides guidance on how students community members and youth can preserve their communities.
