As of 6/2 morning. Charlotte went to the vet She was heartworm tested - negative. Got vaccinated. She's about two years old, 48lb We hope Charlotte finds a home so she won't have to stay tied outside in these hot summer south temperatures Please share. Update 6/1 at night. Please pray for Charlotte!! I got a call as we posted Charlotte, hoping she would find her family. Charlotte is not doing well. The south heat got her. She got a heat stroke She was so hot and dehydrated from being tied outside in the sun without enough shade or water. It's late on a weekend, and there are no urgent vets or animal hospitals in that area. Marissa Garcia is an angel who cares for her and gives her Pedialyte every 10 minutes. Tomorrow, she'll be going to the vet. We'll update Now, if she makes it, we know she needs to leave her current place and should find her forever family to meet on the 14th. Original post! 6/1 mid-day Imagine spending your entire life tied up outside. Unfortunately, that is the reality for young Charlotte. She's a dark chocolate lab mix born in April of '24. She weighs about 35 pounds and is on the taller side. She is a very friendly and sweet girl who's begging for love and some attention Charlotte is currently in Texas, but once adopted, she will be transported to the NJ area.
