We would like to thank Mrs. Patsy Proctor for her generous donation of a basketball goal for us. She graciously donated in memory of Harker, her R.E.A.D. dog, who recently passed. Harker and Mrs. Patsy had been coming to The Bridge Downeast After School for many years. Many students have loved reading books to Harker or being read to by Mrs. Patsy. We will miss Harker very much. (fb)
SUN Bucks 2025 is back! SUN Bucks is an income-bases food assistance program for the summer to help alleviate some cost. She moved to Carteret County from Cumberland County to work for The Bridge Downeast and be closer to family. She is an Air Force Veteran and has worked for multiple nonprofits focused on student family and veteran support.
