GMFTS Green Mountain FarmtoSchool GMFTS is a leader in the growing farmtoschool movement in Vermont. Our mission is to strengthen local food systems in Vermont by promoting positive economic relationships education and access between schools farms and communities. We create and sustain healthy communities by working across the food system with capacity building resource development and technical assistance through our FarmtoSchool program Farm Direct food hub and Lunchbox food truck. Our Programs FarmtoSchool a program that partners with schools to teach kids about healthy local eating through lessons in the classroom kitchen school gardens and on farm field trips Green Mountain Farm Direct a regional food hub distributing local food to schools institutions and businesses The Lunchbox a summer meal program providing local food and foodbased education to kids and families Make a Gift Today Help us keep the movement moving.
