Free Books of Boston Free Books of Boston About Us Free Books of Boston is a nonprofit organization founded in 2003now awaiting formal status as a 501c3. Our mission is to give booksaway to people who need and want them. Our founder Anna Watson took herinspiration for this project from Book Thing in Baltimore and itsfounder RussellWattenberg. We solicit donations of books from organizations and individualsand redistribute the books to schools homeless shelters people inprison and food pantries.
