Shelley Kendrick, President and CEO of Ecumen, was honored to speak at the inaugural RISE Conference, hosted by the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society at the University of Notre Dame. As part of a panel titled “Healing in Community: Addressing Loneliness & Mental Health for Sustainable Social Resilience,” Shelley joined professionals from Blue Cross Blue Shield, Northwestern University, and AARP to explore how we can build stronger, more connected communities, especially in an era where social isolation and mental health challenges continue to rise. At the heart of the RISE Conference is a powerful question: How can we conscientiously design and deploy artificial intelligence to positively impact society.
