Four Middlesex students, Freddy Murphy '26, Stella Pham '28, Janelly Ramirez '28, and Andrew Visco '26, chaperoned by Ms. Annie Kelly, arrived in Panama City on June 1st for a two-week exchange program at the Academia Interamericana de Panama, a bilingual Spanish and English pre-K to 12 school in Panama City. Our students attend regular classes and participate in sports, arts, and other extracurricular activities during the day. In the evenings, they spend quality time with their host families, taking full advantage of this fun and authentic language and cultural immersion experience. This is the second part of our reciprocal exchange with the AIP -- Middlesex hosted five of their students in February. (fb)

Today marks the 100th anniversary of the Middlesex Memorial Chapel. Under Middlesex founder Frederick Winsor, the Chapel was built as a non-sectarian gathering space in 1925 after ten Middlesex graduates were killed in WWI. After WWII, the Chapel was rededicated to include the students who died in that war. Today, the Chapel serves as a space for community, celebrations, musical performances, traditions, remembrance, and so much more. Please join us in celebrating 100 years of our Memorial Chapel! (fb)
