Wood County Head Start What We Do Home Base Our Home Base program is a weekly home visit where experienced staff works with families in identifying goals for both the child and the family. Expectant Mother also Welcome InfantandToddlerProgram A comprehensive child development program that serves income eligible infants toddlers and their families Preschool Educational services for children and important issues such as nutrition medical dental services mental health social and emotional development and promotes parent involvement. Our Mission Head Start supportspromotes children and family growth and empowerment through education parent involvement and health awareness integrating community resources. Teaching children that learning can be fun and helping them feel good about themselves are key ingredients of the Head Start program.
