Chicanos Por La Causa believes the Federal government sending National Guard troops to Los Angeles to combat demonstrations against immigration enforcement methods only escalates an already-volatile situation. Just as CPLC believes in due process for everyone in the United States, including those living and working here without documentation, we believe in the right to protest the indiscriminate arrest and deportation of individuals and families. These are not criminals, and this is not a partisan issue.
