GEMS Global is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering spiritual growth among girls worldwide. The organization aims to provide a supportive environment where girls can learn about God, feel valued, and develop meaningful relationships.
History and Mission
Founded in 1958, GEMS Global operates primarily within the sectors of children's ministry and family outreach. Its mission is to equip girls with the tools necessary to navigate life's challenges while deepening their faith. Through various programs, including club activities, one-on-one Bible studies, and girls' activity kits, GEMS strives to create a welcoming space where girls can thrive spiritually.

Generations of GEMS: Ruth & Julia Gibbons Ruth Gibbons, a club coordinator in Massachusetts, recently shared that it was her daughter's last night of GEMS. "She unofficially started GEMS when I made 12 gingerbread houses as a Christmas craft for our 5th graders and she was born the following Saturday & attended meetings as an infant. Her first official meeting was a camp out at age 3, & she saved her shirt.
