The Feed the Future USAID Hinga Wunguke Activity recently launched four new co-investment partnerships that aim to mobilize $580,000 for 500,000 smallholder farmers. The partnerships with EXUUS and BK TecHouse aim to scale the use of digital technologies that connect Rwandan farmers with credit, finance, and reliable inputs. Partnerships with the Rwanda Youth in Agribusiness Forum and Rugori Investment Network will support efforts to strengthen youth- and women-led businesses. The Feed the Future Mali Sugu Yiriwa activity recently attended the sixth edition of the Sikasso Agricultural Fair, offering an opportunity to reflect on the activity’s progress and explore new pathways to accelerate agricultural development in #Mali. The fair served as a forum for its approximately 9,000 visitors to exchange information on best practices in agricultural development, as well as how to best build an agricultural sector that improves productivity and earnings for its participants. The fair helped forge new business connections and mobilized the sale of over $200,000 in agricultural inputs and equipment.
