The federal government announced it’s planning to cut funding to vital programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities. If this happens, more than 40,000 Ohioans alone will no longer have access to critical services that support them in living safe and independent lives. These budget cuts impact the following organizations: • Disability Rights Ohio Investigates abuse and neglect, supports individuals with disabilities in exercising their rights, advocates for independent living, helps keep students in school, and provides critical services to achieve success.
