BHS Background Since its founding in 2002 the Class of 1979 Scholarship has awarded nearly one million dollars to support academically accomplished Barnesville community students who possess the aspiration and intellectual curiosity to attend one of our nations highest quality colleges or universities. The Scholarship is supported by Barnesville Scholarship Fund Inc. BSF. BSF will provide scholarships of 40000 to as many as four students per graduating class to help cover the cost of education at eligible colleges and universities.
