🛑Stop the presses - Meet Goose! He is a plug & play new buddy Goose is one of those stories we hear more and more these days. He came into the Palmdale shelter as a stray without a microchip on April 26th. On intake the shelter staff gave him a score of 1 out of 5, citing he was calm, relaxed, quiet, easily handled, and sociable. Even though Goose was a very friendly dog with so many amazing qualities, as soon as his legal stray hold was up on April 30th, he was at risk. With the overpopulation issues causing overcrowding in the shelters, dogs aren't given much time. As soon as we saw Goose was in trouble, we made a plan so he could take his freedom ride out of the shelter. Goose came into the rescue on May 5th so we're still getting to know him. What we can tell you so far is that this is a boy who was loved and was in a home before landing in the shelter. He knows come, sit, stay, and waits patiently for treats and attention. It's mind-boggling to us when this happens, so we consider ourselves lucky to be the ones who will see to it Goose finds his forever family who will love him forever and ever.
