Chad had his leg amputated below the knee this year. As a residential construction worker, being confined to a wheelchair kept him from working, and he didn’t have coverage for a new prosthetic. Every day, we hear from new amputees stuck in this frustrating catch-22. They need to work to afford a prosthetic, but they need a prosthetic in order to work. Steps of Faith helps amputees break out of this cycle and regain their mobility and possibilities.
