Colorado News: 🗞️ This week, @senatorbennet + @repjeffhurd announced the introduction of the Gunnison Outdoor Resource Protection - GORP - Act in the US Senate and US House of Representatives. @gorpact was developed through 10 years of collaboration with local governments + public land users. It has bipartisan support from 6 counties, several local municipalities, the UTE Mountain UTE Tribe, and local businesses. This was developed by the Gunnison Public Lands Initiative (GPLI), a community group here in Gunnison that includes public land users from ranchers, mountain bikers, conservation groups, hunters + anglers, and motorized users. From local community to state-wide support, we are proud to be the home to this incredible collaboration!
