The PERT Consortium The PERT Consortium is the premier organization dedicated to establishing optimizing and expanding multidisciplinaryPulmonary Embolism Response Teams PERT and their quality care for pulmonary embolism PE patients. OUR STORY The PERT Consortium was born out of necessity inspired by a group of physicians at Massachusetts General Hospital that identified the need for a coordinated multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary embolism. OUR MISSION It is our mission to increase awareness of treatment options available to patients with pulmonary embolism to reduce the worldwide incidence of pulmonary embolism and to further scientific discovery in the realm of PE research.
