Feeling energized after a great Garden Council board retreat today, including our newest member Michael Martinez who founded @lacompost and our consultant Sean Gustafson who is also the garden manager of @easthollywoodcommunitygarden We took time to reflect on how far we’ve come — from upgrading our internal systems, to launching Garden Manager training, and now imagining bold new ways to make the Garden Council truly self-sustaining. 💡💧 What these conversations always circle back to is the importance of community, resilience, and growing together. 🌻 Grateful for the vision and dedication in the room — and excited for what’s ahead.
