MOTOWN HISTORICAL MUSUEM INC
#OnThisDay in 1979, Motown released the album Don't Touch Me by Patrick Gammon. The LP was recorded in Germany, where Gammon had made a home for himself after touring with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Featuring virtuosic session players from the German music scene, the album was comprised of brass and drum heavy funk music that fit in well with other Motown releases of the era by artists such as the Commodores, Rick James, High Energy, Switch and Teena Marie.
