A Prayer for Support Lord, today we ask You to raise this Community to create a network of support that reflects Your love and support of Kinship, foster, and adoptive families, and actively engage in caring for those in need. We lift the child placing agencies, lawyers, case workers, therapists and other children's advocate workers for foster families and their kids up to you. We ask for Your wisdom to guide them in their challenging and tireless work, providing clarity and purpose as they fight in the trenches for vulnerable children. We seek your guidance to inspire and call upon local businesses and community leaders. Reveal to them how they can help and become beacons of Your love and compassion to the most vulnerable children around us. May we be instruments of hope, generosity, and understanding, and may your grace empower foster families as they nurture and support these precious lives. We lift our churches to you, asking for your wisdom and courage as they embrace the calling to support foster care. Inspire church leaders and members alike to take action, whether through prayer, advocacy, or tangible support for foster families. Bless the efforts of those who serve in this mission, and may their work reflect your heart for the orphaned and the broken. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. (fb)
