All this week, we are looking at the Festival Concerts you can enjoy as part of our June 2025 Festival in Boston! Friday, June 13 begins with the return of the Keyboard Mini-Festival, with three recitals from 9am to 4pm. At 5pm, BEMF is back at Emmanuel Church as Kiya Tabassian leads Constantinople in their BEMF début with a musical dialogue between Johann Sebastian Bach and Persian polymath Omar Khayyam featuring soprano @Hana Blažíková. At 8pm, Gramophone Award winners Vox Luminis and Director Lionel Meunier explore Carissimi’s sacred oratorios. The evening concludes at 10:30pm with a delightful program as tenor Luca Cervoni and Concerto Romano serve up an uproarious showcase of the nurses and nannies of 17th-century opera.
