Situated on a serene 20acre campus the Israel Museum is home to the worlds most extensive collection of art and Holy Land archaeology including the Dead Sea Scrolls the oldest surviving biblical manuscript. From prehistory to the present from Africa to Asia to the Americas the Museum contains an encyclopedic collection of nearly 500000 pieces. Since our inception in 1972 AFIM has raised over 450 million for the Museums exhibitions art acquisitions educational and outreach programs curator training and more.
