This is Pee Wee and Snoopy. They came to us in a very poor condition; all they knew was each other. It soon became evident that they had survived on table scraps or worse. They didn't recognize what a food or water bowl are. They didn't understand the comfort of a bed of their own, a warm blanket or a gentle touch. Who knows the lives these poor souls endured. Foster mom is patiently working to earn their trust and to teach them just how to be a "dog". Her patience is inspiring and we are so blessed to have her as part of our team. Snoopy (the red) is desperate to please and gain affection. At some point he obviously experienced love of some kind. Pee Wee (the cairn terrier) is high energy and has clearly spent his early years not expecting or getting any attention. Both were flea ridden and seriously underweight. It's like they don't even understand that meal time is a regular thing. Well it is from now on. We know this is economy is tough for everyone, but any donation you care to give (in their name) will be used to ensure that these two angels learn that they will never go hungry, cold or lonely again. They are proving to be resilient and eager to please. We just want to help them become the best little guys that they can be so that they never have to worry again, and we can adopt them into loving homes.
