Breaking Ground Breaking Ground Menu Mission Breaking Ground believes that one of the most impactful things that can be done to serve a community is to increase the number of residents in that community that own their homes. As such Breaking Ground builds homes at a Homes Breaking Ground exists to build homes of quality and character both building new homes and rehabilitating old ones. We can use plans weve designed and developed over our years of experience or can design based on custom scopes according to History Breaking Ground is located in Chicagos west side neighborhood of North Lawndale. Over the years Breaking Ground has taken many shapes at times serving as a manufacturing center for the North Lawndale neighborhood and at others as a training facility Breaking Ground3501 W Fillmore St.
