Welcome to Harsens Island St. Clair Flats Historical Society Harsens Island Historical Museum In 2020 the Harsens Island Historical Museum completed and opened the new addition to the museum which included a large exhibit space and additional storage. During the last two and a half years the Historical Society Board of Directors and volunteers have been busy renovating the original portion of the building including some minor repairs a fresh coat of paint inside and out and new flooring. On Memorial Day weekend 2022 we dedicated the completed museum and in honor of two of the Historical Societys founders the exhibit space at the main entrance to the building has been named The Nancy Boulton and Gary Grout Room.
