Welcome to the Ohio State Society DAR. We are over 6300 women in the state of Ohio who are passionate about community service preserving history educating children as well as honoring those who serve or have served our nation. We are a part of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution NSDAR or DAR a nonprofit nonpolitical volunteer womens service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation education patriotism and honoring the patriots of the Revolutionary War. The NSDAR was founded October 11 1890 and the Ohio Society was founded in December 1891.
