Misha spent her early days living outside, but you’d never guess it. She’s taken to home life like she was born for it—already learning to ring the bells to go out, and impressing everyone with how calm and well-mannered she is for such a young pup. Her foster mom calls her “an absolute dream”—quiet, affectionate, and wonderfully gentle, even around babies and seniors. This little lady has a soft heart and an old soul. She loves to be close, often trotting over for a snuggle between bites of food or gently curling up while you work. She’s smart too—already mastering sit, come, lay down, and “no,” and she’s respectful of your space (unless it involves a stray shoe—her one charming little vice!). CILRA Fosters or Fosters to Adopt needed for 3 purebred Labs! Brownie and Charkie are 3.5-year-old purebred female Labs who are sisters. Brownie is chocolate, and Charkie is a charcoal Lab. They are not bonded and can be placed separately. They are house-trained, indoor dogs, and good with children (living with a 12-year-old, 7-year-old, and 4-year-old). We do not know how they are with other dogs and cats. If you have pets and would like to help, keeping the animals separated to give everyone a chance to get used to one another should be considered. The girls do well crated at nighttime. They do not pull on the leash. Nice temperaments and sweet natures; Brownie and Charkie are friendly and playful. Both need complete vetting, which CILRA will cover. Hudson is a 5-year-old purebred male black Lab. He is good with children; however, he would be best with older children who cannot be knocked over due to his exuberance. We are unsure how he is with other dogs, but cats are a definite no. Hudson is housetrained, friendly, and playful. He has some training but needs reinforcement, engagement, and exercise. He needs to work on leash walking and is okay in a crate and the car.
