Happy #PrideMonth from The Bridge for Youth! 🏳️‍🌈 For us, our commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion extends beyond simply changing our profile picture. Over 6,000 youth in Minnesota experience homelessness on any given night, with over 23% of them identifying as LGBTQ+. We’re here for queer youth who don’t feel safe, accepted, or supported in their identity with therapeutic health support, access to gender-affirming care, resource connections, and more. The Bridge is home to ‘So What If I Am’, the Twin Cities’ longest LGBTQ+ youth support group; a space that uplifts queer voices for a community of youth and young adults experiencing homelessness and instability. This Pride, we look forward to uplifting the voices of queer youth and celebrating their identities in commUNITY with you.
