We seen schools close businesses leave movie theaters close and events leave our community. From the recent Black Lives Matter movement that swept the world TGi has been inspired to create the Reclaiming The Hood Campaign.

In a city where nearly two-thirds of youth have witnessed violence and almost 25% report seeing it weekly, the TGi Movement is committed to transforming the narrative through action. Our programs, like Omega Chi Omega, have empowered over 150 young leaders (to date), accumulating over 16,000 service hours in 2023-24, with mentorship, entrepreneurship, arts and culture, community development, and civic engagement opportunities. At the same time, TGi has cultivated Da Oasis, providing a safe haven for young people on the Southwest side of Chicago and impacting over 20,000 community members since 2021.
