Our MISSION At Wellness House we are dedicated to providing free compassionate support to individuals and families affected by lifealtering illnesses. Our mission is to create a safe caring space where those facing challenges can find comfort strength and community. Wellness House is an independent community based nonprofit started in 1988 by Mazie Meade who believed that cancer patients and families could find support encouragement and hope by connecting with others in similar situations.
