Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications ACEJMC is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation CHEA for accrediting programs in professional journalism and mass communications in institutions of higher learning. ACEJMC is the agency responsible for the evaluation of professional journalism programs in colleges and universities. Currently 120 schools are accredited by ACEJMC.
