Readfield Union Meeting House Company
A national treasure built in 1827 to accommodate a union of different faiths. Today UMH has one of the finest surviving examples of trompe l'oeil art in the country. For those who have interest in or wish to support efforts to restore and preserve The Readfield Union Meeting House, a cultural landmark, for future generations of Readfield residents, Maine citizens and visitors from other states.

Supporters have recognized the importance of restoring and preserving Maines second oldest brick church which originally served as a meeting place for several denominations. Mainers in 1827 realized that creating a sense of community was important just as it is today.
