This week for Firefighter Fridays is First Lieutenant Mike Innocenti. Like many of our firefighters, Lieutenant Innocenti's history of family service is what brought him to the BPVFC. Lieutenant Innocenti is a great leader for our younger members, regularly providing driver/pump operator training and helping to organize our weekly drill nights. Q: How long have you been with the BPVFC? A: 14 years Q: What initially made you join the BPVFC? A: My father was a firefighter with Bethel Park for 27 years up until his passing. Q: What do you do as your day job? A: I work for Peter's Township Public Works. Q: What is your favorite thing about being a member of the BPVFC? This week for Firefighter Fridays is Probationary Firefighter Max Siegert. In addition to being a Volunteer Firefighter, Max is actively pursuing his EMT qualification and hopes to become a career Firefigher in the future. Q: How long have you been with the BPVFC? A: A little over a year and a half. Q: What initially made you join the BPVFC? A: My cousin is a Firefighter and after I got out of the Marine Corps, I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do, so I decided to give this a try and I've fallen in love with it since. Q: What do you do as your day job? A: I work at Brace Flooring and deliver product to job sites, but my goal is hopefully to become a paid Firefighter.
