Haiti is unstable and as a result we worry that income from export crops is unstable. Better diversification of income helps our producers, so we invited them to submit grant proposals for domestic income-generating opportunities. The OPCDEL proposal, our growers association located right at the border with the Dominican Republic, requested support for expansion and improvement of their coffee-producing infrastructure, including machinery and storage.
