The Chris Collins Foundation, Inc The Chris Collins Foundation Inc Shining a light on mental illness Washing away the stigma through education and awareness It is important to Chris loved ones that the social stigma of mental illness is washed away the prevalence of the disease in our communities is recognized and we learn to identify and care for those who may be suffering. Chris Collins 20 died by suicide March 29 2018 after a 3year battle with anxiety and depression. Chris smile would brighten the lives of everyone he met. He was the truest of friends and his love for and concern for others lives on through his foundation and its PeertoPeer Mental Health Awareness Program in schools.
