Dyketv - Informasi TV Show LGBT

Dyke TV/DTV Productions launched in 1993, and operates from multi-racial, multi-generational, all-inclusive queer perspectives. Those traditionally underrepresented in mainstream and even LGBT pogramming are especially encouraged to participate, including lower-income women, seniors, youth, and the transgender/gender queer community. The one-hour show is comprised of 3-15 minute segments in a news magazine format, and covers issues important to the volunteers who produce them, as well as to our larger queer audience. Dyke TV also operates a low-cost media resource center where those women can learn from experienced mentors to produce digital videos. DTV remains one of the only places in the country where a dyke can walk in, learn about video production, use advanced video equipment for free (shooting for the show) or at low cost, and put what she finds important onto the screen.
