🎻 Meet Gregory Sauer – Chamber Music Institute Faculty Artist at Green Lake Festival of Music Praised for his versatility and expressive artistry, cellist Gregory Sauer joins the faculty of our Chamber Music Institute, held July 6–20, 2025 at Ripon College. A frequent soloist and chamber musician, Greg has performed concertos with orchestras across the country including the Houston Symphony, Hudson Valley Philharmonic, Tallahassee Symphony, and Missoula Symphony. His recital and chamber appearances span Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall, international tours with the Carpe Diem String Quartet, and festival performances from the Victoria Bach Festival to the Colorado Music Festival. Currently a professor of cello at Florida State University, Greg previously taught at the University of Oklahoma, where he was named Presidential Professor. Their performances span the globe — from the National Gallery of Art in D.C. to festivals in Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Spain — and they’ve premiered works by celebrated composers such as Ricardo Lorenz and Miguel del Águila.
