Vermonter, Ned Hamilton will be inducted into Vermont Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame October 18th at Killington. Ned has spent a lifetime shaping the landscape of skiing in Vermont and beyond. In Montpelier in 1958, he launched a ski department in the basement of his men’s clothing store, The Oxford Shop, giving rise to the first Peter Glenn Ski Shop.

GARY BLACK will be awarded the 2025 Paul Robbins Award for exceptional reporting at our Hall of Fame induction ceremony. He was a visionary journalist and ski industry leader who helped shape the global narrative of alpine ski racing from his home base in Vermont. In1984, driven by a lifelong love for skiing and adventure, he made a bold move by purchasing Ski Racing Magazine and relocating from Baltimore to Waitsfield, Vermont.
