We have made the extremely tough decision to discontinue residential copper/DSL services in the next several months. We are aware that we’re going to put some of our customers in a difficult position because they rely on us to connect to their friends and family and loved ones. The telecommunication industry, markets and communities have dynamically and comprehensively evolved over GWI's 30-year history and will continue to do so; there are now connectivity options available to customers in the markets where we serve and offer copper/DSL service. We wanted to make sure that those options in the marketplace were present before we made this decision. It’s the right decision for GWI. And we believe and agree it’s the right decision for our customers long-term. The expenses to service older technology is rising asymptotically and you, our customers, are overwhelmingly demanding more robust connectivity options. And hence, over the last many years we have been aggressively responding and will continue to respond by building multi-gigabit fiber connectivity to communities where need, demand and business case exists. We are going to continue to lean in very heavily into building fiber networks across Maine. We’re here to support you in any transitions that you need. We very deeply and sincerely appreciate the years of support that you provided. Our copper/DSL customers will be receiving communication in the mail with important details.
